Dieppe

Story

Old stone towers rise above a harbor town, their weathered walls overlooking the water below. Soft earth tones and pale blues wash across the scene, giving the coastal view a quiet, muted atmosphere. The composition captures the medieval buildings clustered along the shoreline. This piece, titled Dieppe, was painted by Claude Monet (1840–1926), a French artist associated with Impressionism, known also for Impression, Sunrise.
