Waterlilies

Story

A quiet pond fills the canvas, dotted with pink water lilies floating among green pads. Willow branches droop into the scene, their forms echoed by blue and purple reflections rippling across the water's surface. This oil painting was created in 1916 by Claude Monet, a French painter associated with Impressionism, known also for Haystacks.
