Earth 1

Story

Loose, sweeping marks and drips of paint stack together in layers, their cream, black, and gray tones softened by muted touches throughout. Dan Hobday created this mixed media piece, titled Earth 1, through gestural application and overlapping textures that build an abstract composition.

Where it works

Warm-toned artwork suited to dens and media rooms, and to hotel guest rooms, in a vertical format.
