Story

Stacked bands stretch across the canvas, their edges softened by gestural brushwork. Whites and grays shift into teal and black, suggesting layered terrain and open sky. The composition reads as an abstract landscape, horizontal forms built up in loose, textured strokes. Dan Hobday made this piece, titled Haytor.

Where it works

Cool-toned artwork suited to dens and media rooms, and to hotel guest rooms, in a horizontal format.
