Story

A soft yellow disc sits at the center against deep black, with lines of pink, blue, and yellow radiating outward like beams of light. The glowing form seems suspended within the surrounding darkness. This oil on canvas work was made in 1915 by Hilma af Klint, a Swedish painter whose work belongs to abstract art.
