Dahlia Delight

Story

A tightly framed pink dahlia fills the view, its many petals curling in rows that spiral outward from the dense center toward the bloom's edges. Karen Ussery captures the flower's layered structure, emphasizing the rhythmic repetition of petal shapes across the entire composition.

Where it works

A floral still life suited to living rooms and bedrooms, and to hotel guest rooms, in a vertical format.
