Story

Three fish in bright pink and red hover against a plain white background, each with a wide, large eye that gives them a lively, watchful expression. The piece is dated 1975 and comes from Leo Lionni, who created it under the title A Color of His Own. Lionni, born in 1910 and died in 1999, worked as a children's writer, designer, and graphic artist, with American and Italian citizenship across his life.
