Story

A woman dressed in a black kimono leans forward at a temple site, framed by tall architectural columns, while an airship floats in the sky behind her. The scene appears in a color woodblock print made in 1925. Miki Suizan, who lived from 1887 to 1957, worked as a painter and printmaker in Japan. The piece came to the Toledo Museum of Art as a gift from Hubert D. Bennett.
