Story

Rain falls over a harbor at Mihonoseki, where boats rest near a wooden structure and figures stand along the waterfront, rendered in soft blue and brown tones. The scene is a color woodblock print made by Oda Kazuma in 1925. Oda, who lived from 1882 to 1956, was a Japanese painter and printmaker. The piece came to the Toledo Museum of Art as a gift from Hubert D. Bennett.
