Story
Boats sit tied along a Sydney shoreline, with structures and a tall tower rising behind them beneath a hazy, brownish sky that suggests early morning haze over the water. The scene is rendered in oil, completed in 1888. Tom Roberts (1856–1931), an Australian painter associated with the Heidelberg School, also made Bourke Street and A break away!
