Story

A young woman gazes out with an elongated face framed by reddish-brown hair, her features simplified into gentle curves. She wears a dark blue-green garment, set against a backdrop split between blue and yellow tones. The painting was made in oil in 1918. The artist, Amedeo Modigliani (1884–1920), was a painter and sculptor from the Kingdom of Italy associated with modern art, also known for his depiction of Jean Cocteau.
