Story
A woman turns in profile, draped in flowing white fabric and crowned with a wreath of yellow blossoms. She stands amid blooming yellow shrubbery set against deep, shadowed greenery, her pale figure glowing against the darker backdrop. Charles Courtney Curran painted this scene in oil in 1913, working within American Impressionism. The piece entered the Norton Museum of Art as a gift from generous donors.
