Story
A wooden arched bridge crosses a quiet pond, its surface dotted with water lilies. Weeping willows lean around the edges, their foliage rendered in greens, yellows, and blues that blend softly across the scene. The piece is painted in oil by Claude Monet, a French artist who lived from 1840 to 1926. Monet worked within Impressionism, the movement also tied to his piece Impression, Sunrise.
