Pines in Winter Landscape

Story

A quiet shoreline stretches beneath bare pine trees, their shapes gathered against a snow-covered bank. Muted browns, grays, blues, and soft yellows blend across the scene, giving the winter air a hushed stillness. The piece is rendered in watercolor on paper. Hilma af Klint (1862–1944) was a Swedish artist associated with abstract art, and this quiet study reflects her broader engagement with nature before her turn toward abstraction.

Where it works

Muted artwork suited to living rooms and bedrooms, and to hotel guest rooms, in a vertical format.
