Story

Loose geometric forms drift across the paper: angled rectangles, a cross, a gentle curve, and a small circle, all rendered in gray tones that suggest a quiet study of balance and structure. The composition is a pencil drawing made in 1915. Kazimir Malevich (1879–1935) worked within Suprematism, part of the wider Russian avant-garde, and is known for Black Square (1915).
