Story
A blocky, abstracted figure dominates the composition, its tower-like head stamped with the letter T, its body built from layered, dress-like shapes topped with a star, all rendered in warm tan and brown tones. The piece is a watercolour on paper laid on board, made by Paul Klee in 1929. Klee, a German-Swiss artist (1879–1940), worked within the Bauhaus movement.
