Judith Rayl

Judith Rayl is a physician, stroke survivor, and experimental photographer. Her oeuvre manifests new worlds of restoration, repair, and remembrance. Its groundbreaking process advances the material, physical, and emotional possibilities of image-making. By utilizing repurposed materials, she promotes sustainable artistic practices.

Judith’s work has been in 80 shows nationwide, including the 2025 Northwest Biennial. She is a 2025 Bloedel Reserve Community Creative, Tuŝis IV International Photography Contest winner, Harvard University Flourishing Network member, and Seattle Ethnic Artist Roster selectee.
