Working primarily en plein air with a palette knife technique, Sandra Pratt creates textured landscapes that capture the immediate, fleeting qualities of light and atmosphere in single sittings. As a self-taught artist, she has developed an intuitive approach that prioritizes emotional truth over academic accuracy, allowing the knife to guide her vision toward essential forms and the architecture of light itself.
