Story
A distant range of snowy summits rises above gentle green slopes, with a river curving through the lowlands beneath a sky layered in soft blue and brown tones. The scene appears behind a figure rendered in oil on panel in 1498. Albrecht Dürer (1471–1528), a German artist associated with the German Renaissance, also produced Adam and Eve among his notable works.
