Snake Dreaming

Story

Striped snakes wind across a yellow ground, looping around concentric circles that mark gathering points along their path. Billy Stockman Tjapaltjarri rendered this composition in acrylic in 1989, balancing earthy linear patterns against the bright field in a steady, rhythmic arrangement.

Where it works

Warm-toned artwork suited to kids' rooms and living rooms, and to restaurants, in a vertical format.
