Story
A grassy headland rises above a stretch of beach, small structures perched along its edge while sailboats dot the water below. Greens and whites mix with touches of red and earthy brown across the cliff and shoreline. The oil painting dates from 1882. It was made by Claude Monet (1840–1926), a French painter associated with Impressionism, now held at Kunsthaus Zürich.
