Story

Grassy cliffs rise above a stretch of blue water, their slopes covered in low plants and scrub, while a modest structure sits perched near the edge, rendered in soft greens, browns, and blue tones. This scene was painted in oil on canvas in 1897 by Claude Monet (1840–1926), a French artist associated with Impressionism, also known for Haystacks.
