Story

Two cone-shaped haystacks rise against a soft countryside view, with distant hills and trees rendered in gentle blends of purple, green, and gold under a pale morning sky. The scene feels quiet and open, light falling evenly across the fields. Painted in oil on canvas in 1891, the work belongs to Claude Monet (1840–1926), a French painter associated with Impressionism, also known for Impression, Sunrise. It is held at the Musée d'Orsay.
