Story
A rugged coastal cliff rises above restless waters, its stony face set against a sky thick with clouds in muted browns, grays, and whites. The sea churns beneath, suggesting rough weather along the shore. This piece, titled Seafront, Fecamp, was created by Claude Monet (1840–1926), a French painter and graphic artist. Monet worked within Impressionism, and he also painted Impression, Sunrise.
