The Water Lilies - Morning

Story

A wide pond fills the view, its surface scattered with water lilies beneath weeping willows, their forms doubled in gentle reflections. Blue, green, and white tones blend softly across the water, giving the whole scene a quiet, drifting calm. Painted in 1914, the work belongs to Claude Monet, housed at the Musée de l'Orangerie. Monet, French, worked within Impressionism, also known for Impression, Sunrise.
