The Water Lilies - Setting Sun

Story

A pond spreads across the canvas, its surface patterned with water lilies while weeping willows lean into their own reflections. Yellows and greens mix with muted earth tones, giving the scene a warm, hazy glow as sunset settles over the water. Painted in 1914 by Claude Monet, the work belongs to the Impressionist movement, and it is held at the Musée de l'Orangerie.
