After1

Story

Sweeping bands of white, beige, and dark brown stack across a black ground, their edges rough with visible brush texture. The marks overlap in loose horizontal layers, creating depth through contrast. Dan Hobday made this abstract composition, titled After1, balancing light tones against deep shadow.

Where it works

Suited to dens and media rooms, and to hotel guest rooms, in a vertical format.
