Story

Dark curved lines and brush marks move across a pale, cream-toned surface, building loose geometric shapes rather than any recognizable scene. The black strokes contrast sharply with the light background. This piece, titled Berf 2, is the work of Dan Hobday.

Where it works

Suited to living rooms and dens, and to hotel guest rooms, in a vertical format.
