Birch Mist

Story

Vertical streaks run top to bottom, mixing white, gray, and dark blue in loose, gestural brushwork. The strokes blend and overlap, giving the surface a layered, textured feel throughout the composition. The piece is called Birch Mist, by Dan Hobday.

Where it works

Cool-toned artwork suited to dens and bedrooms, and to hotel lobbies, in a horizontal format.
