Story

Layers of brushstrokes cross and overlap in white, black, and dark green, spread across a surface with visible texture. The marks build depth through their layered placement, giving the composition a sense of movement. The piece is called Cast2, by Dan Hobday.

Where it works

Cool-toned artwork suited to dens and living rooms, and to hotel guest rooms, in a vertical format.
