Story

A face emerges from overlapping strokes of blue, green, white, and earthy tones, abstracted rather than precisely rendered. The brushwork is layered thickly, building texture across the surface. Dan Hobday created this piece, titled Lush Canvas, blending color and gesture into a loose human likeness.
