Mansin

Story

Horizontal strokes stack across the surface in black, white, and gray, overlapping in uneven bands. The marks sit close together, built up layer upon layer to fill the composition. Dan Hobday made this abstract piece, titled Mansin, using tones that stay strictly within this limited gray scale range.

Where it works

Suited to dens and media rooms, and to boardrooms, in a vertical format.
