Cross Purposes

Story

White strokes and tan shapes slice diagonally across a deep blue field, crossing paths like intersecting roads. The composition balances motion and stillness in equal measure. Dobee Snowber created this piece, titled Cross Purposes, using mixed media.

Where it works

A cool-toned seascape suited to dens and living rooms, and to restaurants, in a vertical format.
