Troubled Waters

Story

Stacked bands of color sweep across the canvas, suggesting churning swells in deep blue, turquoise, gray, and white, as if the sea itself has been flattened into horizontal streaks of motion. Dobee Snowber composed this piece in mixed media, calling it Troubled Waters.

Where it works

A cool-toned seascape suited to living rooms and media rooms, and to hotel guest rooms, in a horizontal format.
