Woman Undressing

Story

A figure is seen from the back, arms lifted, with blue cloth cascading around the body in loose folds. Flesh tones mix with rust-brown shading, giving the pose a sense of motion and tension. The piece combines gouache and pencil on paper, made in 1914 by Egon Schiele (1890–1918), an Austrian artist associated with Expressionism.
