Proun: Path of Energy and Dynamic Flows

Story

A pale yellow ground holds a dark circle anchored among tilting rectangles and diagonal lines, their angles crossing to suggest motion pushing through flat space. The composition is rendered in gouache, watercolour and pencil on tracing paper laid onto card, dated 1920. El Lissitzky (1890–1941), a Russian artist tied to Constructivism and Suprematism, built this Proun as an exploration of geometric energy and dynamic structure.
