Radio Announcer

Story

A figure built from angular geometric shapes stands against a plain beige backdrop, rendered in red, gray, and tan, raising a megaphone to its mouth. The forms suggest motion and mechanical energy rather than a realistic human body. This image, titled Radio Announcer, is a lithograph made in 1920 by El Lissitzky (1890–1941), a Russian artist associated with Constructivism and Suprematism.
