A sepia photograph shows a garden path bordered by tall trees receding into the distance, with a stone balustrade and a statue placed in the foreground. The composition is calm and orderly, drawing the eye down the row of trees toward the far end of the path. This albumen print was made in 1924 by Eugène Atget, a French photographer who worked as an architectural photographer, titled Saint-Cloud and held at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
