Story
A woman is shown in profile, her dark hair arranged carefully, wearing a long undergarment patterned in red and white against a plain pale backdrop. The composition is a color woodblock print made in 1920. Goyō Hashiguchi (1880–1921) worked as a Japanese painter, ukiyo-e artist, and wood engraver. The print entered the Toledo Museum of Art's collection through a museum purchase.
