Story
A blue pitcher holds pink flowers beside a basket of fruit, set against a backdrop of red and blue. The arrangement fills the canvas with contrasting warm and cool tones, giving the still life a sense of depth and balance. Painted in oil on canvas in 1974, the work is by Guy Bardone, a French artist who lived from 1927 to 2015 and also worked as an illustrator and lithographer.
