Story

A performer in a blue tutu guides a horse toward the ring, while rows of onlookers wait in the background to watch the act begin. The scene is rendered in black and colored pencils on paper, created in 1899. The artist, Henri de Lautrec (1864–1901), was French and associated with Post-impressionism, also known for At the Moulin Rouge.
