Story

Large circles overlap with soft floral shapes across the surface, their rounded forms rendered in pink, orange, blue, and cream against a muted blue backdrop. The composition feels organic and spacious, with curling petal-like edges drifting among the circular forms. Made in tempera on paper mounted on canvas in 1907, the piece belongs to Hilma af Klint, a Swedish painter (1862–1944) associated with abstract art.
