Story

A white circle floats near the top of the composition, resting over a tan orb, with a bright diamond-like shape set between the two forms, all placed against a muted gray field. The piece is painted in oil and dates to 1915. It belongs to the body of abstract art associated with Hilma af Klint, a Swedish painter who worked from 1862 to 1944.
