Story
Two circular compositions stack one above the other, each ringed with radiating lines: the upper form rendered in blue and white, the lower in black and gold against a pale ground. Painted in oil in 1914, the work belongs to Hilma af Klint, a Swedish painter (1862–1944) associated with abstract art. It is held courtesy of a foundation preserving her work in Stockholm.
