Story

A yellow circle floats above a multi-colored house shape, set against horizontal bands of orange, white, and beige. The composition relies on simple geometric forms arranged with clear balance across the surface. Painted in oil in 1920, the work was made by Hilma af Klint, a Swedish painter whose practice became part of abstract art. Her paintings are held by the Hilma af Klint Foundation in Stockholm, preserving her exploration of geometric form and color.
