Story
A trio of mallard ducks gathers among wetland reeds and grasses, with pale yellow blossoms scattered through the greenery, all captured in earthy tones of green, brown, and white. The scene was created in 1834 by John James Audubon, a French-American illustrator whose work followed the Naturalism movement, known for his depictions of birds including The Birds of America.
