Story
A girl in a dress stands near a small pedestal table, examining a bottle marked with the words that tell her to drink its contents. Her gaze fixes on the label as she holds it up for inspection in a black ink scene. This lithograph dates from 1891. John Tenniel, a British caricaturist who lived from 1820 to 1914, also created Dropping the Pilot.
