As a painter, I approach every blank canvas with no preconceived ideas.   It’s that invitation to the unknown that begins the process.Recalling a place or a moment of time,  I enter the canvas with swaths of paint and loose line drawings.  There is often a reference to pull from -  such as a landscape or a memory.  ...
