Story

Two rabbits sit facing one another, paired in deliberate contrast. On the left stands a plain figure made of simple outlines, while on the right its counterpart bursts with pattern, colored in pink, green, brown, and blue. The piece carries the title Let's Make Rabbits. It comes from Leo Lionni (1910–1999), an American artist also tied to Italy and the Kingdom of Italy, who worked as a children's writer, designer, and graphic artist.
