Story

A luminous blue figure stands amid radiating beams and glowing round shapes set against deep darkness, suggesting the energy of an electrical device. The composition reads as a study for an advertisement, rendered in pastel in 1922. Leonetto Cappiello (1875–1942), an Italian-French artist working in advertising and caricature, also created the notable design Maurin Quina.
